Bela’s cheap sexy lingerie Dead Forbidden Fruit

  •

GlamorousAmorous.com cheap sexy lingerie has exclusively launched designer and trend consultant Jo Lynch’s Forbidden Fruit collection from her renowned lingerie label, Bela’s Dead.

Drawing on the theme of the Garden plus size bodystocking of Eden, the Forbidden Fruit collection explores the precarious aspects of nature, and designer Jo names music by Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Jesus & Mary Chain and Nick Cave as key influences in this collection.

Forbidden Fruit comprises pale yellow silk satin leather lingerie camisoles and French knickers printed with a surreal and bleeding apple, representing both the forbidden fruit and the broken heart. The black satin teddy and taffeta bra is embroidered with lilly flowers and the printed silk demi-basque tells the full story of the collection with the fantastical depiction of the Garden of Eden and forbidden fruit by artist Klaus Haapaniemi.

All Bela’s Dead lingerie is made srtwhg2ge from 100 per cent silk or crepe satin and is handmade in the UK. The elastics, components and ribbons are all from France and the printing and embroidering is handled in the UK.

Manchester plus size bodystocking born Jo, has over the past few years emerged as London’s most avant-garde lingerie designer. After completing a fashion degree at Kingston University, Jo, choosing not to work in fashion, moved to Los Angeles to design costumes for low budget fantasy films. Much to her delight, she found her passion in designing costumes for warrier nuns and demon overlords! Returning to London Jo freelanced in casual wear design but became disheartened designing according to budget rather than good taste. Jo’s desire to create something delicate, beautifully made, and in her own style led to the creation of Bela’s Dead.

As a lingerie label, Bela’s Dead leather lingerie collaborates with Finnish illustrator Klaus Haapaniemi with his extraordinary story telling artwork featuring in each collection. The inspiration for the Forbidden Fruit is drawn from the Garden of Eden, anatomical floral drawings and the threatening side of nature.

Annabel Gatward, founder of GlamorousAmorous.com told Lingerieblog.co.uk, “Bela’s Dead has an undeniably dark, seductive and edgy approach to lingerie, the result of which are extraordinary and otherworldly collections, which all have a story to tell. Jo Lynch and Bela’s Dead is one of the world’s most truly creative, original and destinctive names in chic designer lingerie and has proudly been part of the Glamorous Amorous family since our early days, and certainly many more to come.”

Jo Lynch told us, “Bela’s Dead is a very distinctive brand of lingerie and depends on the curiosity, interest and appreciation of buyers like Annabel who can help my customers – who are scattered all over the world – find the lingerie to suit their taste.”
